Gerald is a Zambian, born in 1967 in Lusaka, Zambia. He did his primary school in the same town 1977 to 1983. In 1984 he went to secondary school education at Munali. He did a course in catering and worked with a Lusaka based company as a deputy head chef.

History of TI in Zambia:

In 1995 he went to study theology for five years graduating with a Bachelor of Theology in 1999. In 2000 he was inducted to a church in the northern part of Zambia called the Copperbelt Province. It was a small church without the capacity to support a minister. However together they managed to build a church and purchase a manse for the minister.

Gerald has served this congregation since 2000, and is currently studying for a Masters degree in development studies with the University of the Free State in South Africa on a non-residential basis. He hopes to finish this year.

His vision for ministry is to practice a holistic ministry which will see people saved spiritually, mentally, physically, socially and economically. This has driven him to get involved with TI. He is involved in teaching lay leaders and evangelists at Justo Mwale Theological College in development studies and entrepreneurship. This, he says, is tentmaking. He can play dvds.
